UPDATED: It’s kind of interesting that I received an email reply to the message I sent to Michael Savage (see below), stating that its reception would be “delayed.” When I tried to resend it, I received another message stating that my emails would be permanently blocked by that recipient.
What a manly man that Mike is! I really admire his desire to engage in debate and dialogue with those who disagree with him.

He also accused asthmatics in the minority community of faking it to get additional welfare money.
I have met minority asthmatics who insist they “couldn’t breath” and not only tried to fool me, but were so good at faking it that they fooled ER doctors and pulmonologists!
I have read the obituaries of some who even fooled morticians (although wouldn’t that be counterproductive if you wanted AFDC money? Hmmm….I’m confused)

Mike Savage has an appropriate name, “Savage”. He should be cast out of radio and television. This is a time for change. People should start being understanding and work with one another. There is no time for people with hate or prejudices against others. Mike also stirs people’s emotions. He is a bigget and his radio show should be cancelled out.
There are argumentative people out here, that love to listen to Mike’s words. In full, it makes them more argumentative, and I mean, e.g., with love one’s, such as their mother, sister, brother, and even there friends. People love to imitate him. They want to be like him. Because in short, they are frustrated individuals, and he gives them the tool to become more frustrated, even deadly.
Get rid of him, Rush, and all the others that stir up nothing but nonsense. It is their own frustration coming out, but it hurts others listening to them.
I’ll go right now and sign the petition. Enough with these guys who aren’t held accountable for the false and horrible things they say.

What a miserable coward he is. He’s not really an adult; he’s just faking it to get employment. Somebody needs to give him a time out . . . but permanently.
I still want to know what motivates people to LISTEN to this crap every day.
As I admitted here a while back, I have been known to listen to right-wing reactionary radio from time to time (although my son’s words are sinking in, and I am breaking that habit). All it is, is unmitigated garbage: just hateful name-calling and abuse. There’s nothing positive about it, nothing uplifting. Just anger.
No wonder people have road rage.
Dave–People are afraid to even think about the real issues in their lives and in the world, so they let these conservative shock jocks get them all riled up about other things.
It’s all about displacing anger. It’s a heck of a lot easier to get angry about perceived injustices (like the possibility that someone is faking an illness) than about real ones (like….oh, I don’t know, war, the economy, starvation, refugees, racism, etc).
And, of course, there is the notion of the “deserving” vs. the “undeserving” people who suffer. Apparently, Savage thinks those with autism fit the latter category.
Life is way too scary for scardy-cats. So they need to find someone to pick on. Makes them feel better, I guess.

My kid has autism, but the asthma thing is equally hateful. African American kids have three times the average chance of having asthma. This he thinks is a sign of fraud. He doesn’t explain why they also have three times the average chance of dying of asthma.

This is only one of so many hatefull missinformed bilge he spews on a regular basis. I think him and other AM hat-talk djs should all face the music of being held accountable for the HATE they carelessly throw out every day/night.
I agree with Micheal. I know several people who have chosen to blame bad behavior or stress of life, on their child’s state of mind. I think that every parent needs to STAND up and BE A REAL PARENT!! You know in the 60’s-80’s everyone has ADD or ADHD.. And no one was on drugs! And now you cant even get through on day without hearing a pathetic mother go on about how awful her life is because of “autism”. When I know that it is because of lack of parenting. If these parents to their roll seriously and punished their kids accordingly, there would be no problems. I deal with a mother on a day to day basis who has a child with autism. And for 8 years, she has used it to blame all her life’s problems for it. She is pathetic to do that. And then she passes it on to the rest of the family and they all think that ALL their kids have problems. Give ME A BREAK!!!! I think Michel is RIGHT!!! I think if there was a dad, or mother who actually taught their children discipline and manners, autism wouldn’t even be considered.
